Editorial Policy

This page explains how deals end up on DealSpot and what you can expect from us.

How we choose deals

• We prefer products and stores with a good reputation and clear return policies.
• We look at the price history where we can, so a "sale" is a real drop and not an inflated list price.
• Advertisers and affiliate partners cannot pay to have a deal published or to change what we write.

Prices, dates and expired deals

Online prices change constantly. Each deal shows the date it was posted and when it was last updated. When we learn that a deal has ended we mark it as expired. If you spot a price that has changed, tell us in the comments or by email and we will update it.
